Standard Specification For Dry Riser Systems 5306 Part 1.

• Inspect entire system, check operation of landing valves, and instantaneous couplings.
• Check that sealing washers, caps and chain straps and padlocks are intact.
• If cabinet mounted, check operation of locks and hinges.
• Remove and clean air exhauster.
• Clean and check seals in inlet breeching points.
• Clean and check seals on inlet breeching points. Lubricate breeching box hinges and lock.
• Issue report

Once Annually.

• In addition to the above remove and plug air exhauster, charge entire system with water and pressure to 10 bars.
• Leave on test for a minimum of fifteen minutes and inspect visually for leaks.
• Upon completion de-pressurise system and drain, refit air exhauster.
• Issue hydraulic test certificate
